Iv got some Marzocchi Bomber 66 RCV 180mm 2012 fork that have come off a bike iv bought recently, there feels like there is some play in the forks. Its not the headset as iv tightened all the play out of that, anyway it feels the same as a loose headset but only present when the forks are compressing.

I rang JTech suspension today and he advised that it sounds like the bushings are knackered. He then told me that you can no longer get the bushings and would need a complete new lower costing 269.00.

I dont know what to do for the best with them, if i can no longer get the bushes and get them changed how long will it be until they go again, i have no idea.

Or i can try and pick up a second hand pair of other forks on ebay or off here and hope im more lucky with those

What do you guys think?

Nope.. not an easy job. You need to pull the old ones out and drift the new ones back in. You'll need to get creative if you don't have the right puller tool. I'd give them to j tech if they can do it.
