..... what seat clamp you are using. boring i know but i find my thomson 27.2mm post a little loose. the seat clamp i'm using needs to be done up real tight and it hurts my hand un/tightening it.
does any one else find the post a little loose? on the sanderson the (same) post fitted perfectly.
also, what forks you running, stem length and width of bars.
cheers

bump?
was also thinking of using the current salsa clamp with a cut down hex key araldite'd in place. doesn't foul the frame.
someone tell me this will/won't work?
Salsa QR seeat collar (30mm dia), old Raceface XY post. Absolutley fine, no slippage.
I think the usual response to this sort of question is "use a coke can shim".
Edit: although Hope now do a 30mm QR seat clamp (new shape / design).
cheap 30mm one from crc (brand x I think. never slipped with my thomson post
WIIIIIIIIDE bars on a 70mm/0 degree thomson stem

Titec Ringleader bars on a Titec Blockhead stem
Marzocchi Z1 Sport
DMr QR one from CRC - About £7 and works great
Forks - 05 Marzocchi z1 freerides at 130mm
Bars - Sunline V2 at 710mm
Stem - Hope at 70mm with a 25 degree rise
