I have some Diadora shoes but have managed to strip the thread in the cleat base plate on one screw. The other screw tightens up but not enough to stop it coming loose every ride.
Now inside the shoe there appears to be a hard sole glued in really tightly so I can replace the base plate.
Has anyone ever tried removing the sole before? I'm just wondering if I can do it with completely damaging the thing beyond repair.
