[Closed] DHX (coil) 5.0, leaking on end cap/main body joint..?

Basically, i think the unused dhx coil shock on my morewood izimu is leaking oil.

It's a long story.
I started building this bike up in june, but then subsequently crashed, fractured 2 verterbae in my spine and so haven't been able to ride, hence the morewood has just been stood there in the lounge unused and unridden.....

Now when i came to finish putting the last few bits on it last week i noticed a couple of spots of oil on top of the downtube (under the shock), thought nothing of it. Then i noticed some oil on the coil (hmm), then i noticed it on the end of the body of the shock (end where the shaft goes thru) but not on the seal/shaft but on the joint where the end cap (with the two flats on) is screwed into the main body.

I cleaned all the oil off, hoping maybe it was some sort of excess assembly fluid or i'd spilt something, and at the same time made sure the end cap was tight. Compressed the shock a good few times, no oil, put it back on the bike, checked it the day after no visible oil.

Just checked it yesterday and there was a small drip/drop of oil forming on the joint between the end cap and main body, and if you look carefully you can see the oil forming/trace of oil on the joint between the cap and body, cleaned it off again but its back today 😕

So, anyone else had theirs leak from here? Or experienced anything similar to this?
