Looking for a used frame to build up and I'm 29er curious, found a nice deal on a 2014 Devinci Atlas frame, so who has one what do you think? Went on mtbr and people say they are agile which is the kind of bike I like

Current bike is a blur ltc for reference

Cheers

Good geo, good suspension system, most importantly look cool and are quite unique here 🙂 I was very tempted myself and there isn't anything I could see practicalities-wise to hate (eg mud clearance) which is usually a deciding factor for me (all bikes are pretty good these days so long as they fit you)... but they've always been quite expensive. If there was a good deal, I'd be very tempted

Do it - I love mine! Had it a year or so, raced on it, ridden it everywhere, a very capable bike. And unusual, which I like too

I had one for a little while, well made frame although I found it a bit short think I needed an XL (I am 6 1)

I also think it's a great looking bike if that matters!

Late to the party, but I wholly recommend one. I have a 2013 carbon rc, much like the one in the picture above. Mine is a complete Trigger's broom though, there's nothing of the original spec on it.

Currently running 120mm SIDs 1×11 xt drivetrain. If I put my light, sub 1500gram wheels on with Snakeskin Ra-Ra/Ro-Ro tyres, minimal saddle and carbon post, it's a respectable 11kg-ish racing bike. If I put the dropper on and swap the wheels for my American Classic Am wheels with Maxxis EXO tyres, it's a bit portlier, but a superb all day/training centre light trail bike.

I love it, rides superbly, very agile and rides great on tighter techier stuff. Bearings are a standard size and easy to change, build is robust and the mech hangers are hard to break!

about half way down the next slope if I recall - it probably looks trickier than it actually was!

Nice pics! Now mine feels inadequate and underused...
