Following on from the article in the mag I thought I'd see if there was anything locally I could maybe get involved with.
The two local authorities where I ride don't appear to have their own forums, seems that there is a Peak District LAF and a "Rest of Derbyshire" one
Anyone on here involved at all with either of them?

If they're like the LAF run by sheffield city council it's not possible just to get involved. Members of the forum have to be invited. However they may be keen to have an mtber if they don't already.
I used to be on the Cheshire LAF, and was involved in interviewing potential new members. It's important to get a balance of interests, and [url= http://www.peakdistrict.gov.uk/index/looking-after/access/lafmembers.htm ]Peak District LAF[/url] looks rather short of mountain bikers. So give it a go!
