I've got Deore HT2 on my Pitch, and XTs on my Inbred.
To be brutally honest, there's no difference that I can feel, and I'm a heavy pedal masher.
They're a bit weighty, but otherwise it's probably cheaper to buy the whole crankset than a neww BB and chainrings, isn't it?

Once there on a ring they are as good as any other. Changing can be a little slow at times, under pressure they can sometimes struggle. Worth buying if your not bothered about weight, rings are far cheaper as well.

It's the old 'need' Vs 'want' argument, deore is a sensible choice for everyday use.....

Very good cranks, possibly stiffer than old XT (though not tested like for like).
