How old?
What price was it new?
Condition?
What travel forks is it for?
Trail bike stylee or XC whippet?

I only ask as I know nowt about them. So, in reality I'm prolly not going to be any help. 😀

if a respray is really needed then that can add £100 to someones outlay on the frame. the last few SLs' on ebay went for really cheap at around £250 whereas a year or so ago the generations were going for that easy. have a wee look over on retrobike and do a search in the for sale section. pictures speak a thousand words. Ive got a DeKerf UK Ltd Edition and i wouldnt even think about getting rid of it for anything like £250 as its the best steel hardtail i've ever owned and i've owned a few 😉 If it was me i'd get it resprayed and a disc mount added and stick a short travel SID on it.

Last generation frame on ebay (just looked) with paint matched Judy's went for £70 posted.

if it was my size I would have snapped it up myself!

I would have originally thought that you'd be looking at between £100-£150, as I think the ebay one went for that as it was a 21". More reasonable size and you'd get more.
