[#3517741]

I've never been good at these sort of decision's

Having finally tracked down someone (in the US!!) who will sell me lever bushing kit's for the Magura's I now need to make a decision

Too sell what, my bling looking pair or Magura's or my newish old style M535 deore's

My heart says - the Magura's look more bling keep these 'they'll never go wrong again'
My head says - the plain looking deore's will be more reliable, spares readily available

anyone got an opinion 😕

£12 inc postage

on another note - Why is it the UK magura dealers consider it too much of a PITA to sell these

There's no comparison really. Deores ate good solid brakes, but they aren't in the same league as Martas.
I use Deores and Louises on all my bikes, and the Maguras stomp all over the Shimanos in every area but price

Stick with the Martas. 🙂

Oh, and the 'spares' for the Deores will be a new lever, or a new caliper.......

Right - so a binary approach by Shimano!! - knackered/not knackered 😀

You could try this link for the lever bush:

Well if I'd only known that before - I did try a local Magura dealer and they quoted - 'bring the brakes in we'll see if we can find some Hayes parts that fit - there's too much pain trying to source magura parts!'

Anyway - next time I'll use your link posted above
