Scarthin Bookshop in Cromford for a browse and cuppa
Chatsworth House
Hardwick Hall
Monsal Head for a pint / picnic
High Peak Trail for family biking
Millers Dale for a family walk
off the top of my head...

Great stuff, any good 3-4 hour rides round there. Some of my mates are coming down for a afternoon ride.
