Im more than happy with the bikes I own but there is one bike on my wish list. Trek 69er the first ones in that lovely bronze colour and triple clamp forks. Exactly like the one John produced from his boot today ! B*****d ! Anyway we hard a hard SS ride on Dartmoor taking in lots of leg hurting hills. Finished off in the cafe with coffee, chips, pasty and bacon rolls .A great day out indeed .Oh and im not jealous at all , honest. Comments ?

Knottie:
Did you stop for a tea break at the Hound of the Basket meals?
I happened to be up there with the family, and was sure it was Trailmonkey I saw, and as he left, heard some Brummie twang!

Dartmoor is a lovely place to ride complete with its own weather system too . We had rain sun wind and mist all in todays ride.
No on ride tea break either just plain old SS leg testing.

Where's the singletrack descent? Must be round merrivale/walkham valley I'm guessing from the order of the pics.

Hi Stumpy - glad you liked the route mate.

Next time you're coming down email me, hopefully we can ride together & I'll either show you some other bits off that route or I'll show you round a different part of Dartmoor which will put a smile on your face .

The Monkey was at the Hound today, group of 11 out for an awesome ride, best I've had in ages. Good company, great trails and cleared stuff that's always beaten me before. Happy Days! 8)
