I've a retro (1980) road bike and a set of mudguards for it. Unfortunately the bolts to attach the two together have gone walkabouts. Does anyone know what size I should be looking for, even the great Sheldon Brown site has failed me?

I'm half expecting it to be a random BA thread or something......

Cheers

I'd start with metric M4. It's not that old ๐Ÿ˜‰

EDIT: then 5/32nd conversion table

Most likely to be M5.

If not M5 then it could be 2BA (if old and British)

Was it definitely threaded?

Cheers for the ideas. Definely threaded, and close to but not M5, so I'm going to buy some 2BA bolts and hope....
