Went out for a ride around Dalby on Saturday with Haddock after sacking off the ridge ride we were going to do on the moors (gale force winds, sideways rain).
Anyway, we did some of the red, some of the black and then some cheeky singletrack. Cracking day all in all.
We also recorded a fair bit of it [url=

you can see here[/url].
There were loads of people out, so you may be on the video if you were there!

Cheers all. The camera died after the tumble. Tesco batteries are useless; overall we got just fifteen minutes of footage hence me using laods of the cutaways at the end.
We're thinking about going up again and filming a proper little video. If anyone's up for some stop start stuff just let me know!

Nice vid, I liked it a lot, and it was nice to see a different aspsct on some of the stuff I've built and ridden ๐Ÿ™‚

Count me in for some filming, we've done a few shoots ourselves in the past and there's some really good bits for footage if you know where to look ๐Ÿ™‚

Excellent - cheers Col. Are you part of Singletraction then? If so, those new features that are in are great - really nice little touches to add some variety to the trail (although I guess they didn't feel that 'little' when you put them in)

I'll be in touch about next time I'm up.

Yeah, I'm a member and Dalby is my home turf. I just felt I had to give something back after using Dalby for so long.
Some of the stuff is ours, although we tend to build from scratch and FE usually get Clixby's in to tweak existing stuff.
I'm especially proud of the work we did on the new Crosscliffe section, it's turned into a really lovely piece of singletrack riding.
I can't take all the credit, there probably wouldn't be much of a trail if Gil_m hadn't got involved, he's the leading force behind SingletrAction in Dalby - we just follow his orders! (He does need to learn that not everyone is as masochistic as him when it comes to climbing though) ๐Ÿ˜†
There's some not so little stuff going in at our next project - a little black option on White Cliffs - and it'll include some big drops and a few other features if FE give us the go ahead...
