Given the reviews on here were very mixed, I'd thought I'd write up my experience over the weekend.
A group of us went up to Dalby for the first time.
The review that was the most helpful was whoever said that to get the most out of the trails there you have to have the fitness to attack them.
Most of the descents, with a couple of exceptions, were gentle and undulating, and most of your speed came from pedalling. However, if you're up for that you can really carry some speed and have fun swooping left and right between the trees. You did get lulled into a false sense of security that made the occasional technical section something of a shock.
There weren't really any big slogs up the hill, but you felt you were pedalling and doing some climbing on most of the sections.
I'd definitely go back, we had a blast.
