Rachel Atherton had a pretty good year, in women's downhill it frequently looked like there was Rachel, then all the rest.

Froome.

The Ventoux win was the best single ride by a Brit I've seen.

Froome.

The Ventoux win was the best single ride by a [s]Brit[/s]kenyan I've seen.

But you'd have to give the award to his doctor!

+1 for Rachel Atherton. It wasn't quite a perfect domination of the season, but it was as close as I've seen.

We'll see 100% wins next year I hope ๐Ÿ™‚

Froome for Ventoux alone.
100th Tour in the yellow jersey with people wondering what he was capable of and BAM!
Awesome.

Jerome Clementz or Jared Graves.

Clementz seems a lovely chap and seemed to win everything he looked at, but what about Graves in the World Champs? And if he'd just had better luck in the EWS...

Not Froome.

It would have to be a rider that has improved unsupported by team Docs, state of the art pharmaceuticals, nutritioists, chefs, massuers, sports physcologists and lots and lots of money.

So it needs to be a young rider that impressed by getting a promotion up to elite or winning big races as an amateur

any ideas? There must be some xc racers on here?

My mate Jamie Nicoll who stormed the EWS/enduro season as a privateer despite being on his deathbed 3 years ago and recovering from the most horrific burns. At 35 he's signed a 2 year full pro deal with Hutchinson/polygon. The nicest toughest guy you'll meet.

Martyn Ashton. A man to whom befell the biggest imaginable set back, and yet returned the most memorable videographic moment of 2013.

GWS Martyn, we're rooting for you!

(2nd place to Rach, for her total domination of Womens DH in 2013)

Chris Froome for his wins including the 100th Tour De France ! Clean in my opinion !!

Guy Martin for being unbelivable doing the landspeed thing on a beach !!

Martyn Ashtom for his mental fortitude in light of his horrific injuries what an amazing guy.

All worthy contenders but Martyn Ashton for me for finishing ROAD Party 2 with some amazing friends who helped out !!

Hannah Barnes (the road rider) for winning practically everything she's entered, even when she'd fallen off on the last lap and split her chin open
