Anyone done any? Either road or mountain. Thinking of going out in September with my gf, and would be cool to do some riding - either taking one of my bikes out, or hiring, riding with a tour company or meeting some locals. Ideally would like to avoid the more dangerous areas...

Had a quick google but not found much at all.

Thanks,

Duane.

Never been to Lebanon but I once took a bike with me on a trip to neighbouring Jordan for my agent there. Unfortunately it never got used because Jordan is a really hilly country and he lived at the top of a hill and was grossly unfit, so getting home was quite unpleasant, even dangerous for somebody so unfit and overweight.

Lebanon though must be a fantastic country with amazing hospitality, great food and wines and charming people and I wouldn't hesitate to go cycling there if I had the time. Really, do go, you'll love it. If you get to ride a bike, bonus!

My cycling buddy has done in the past & I've ridden round Corsica with a group of Lebanese including Max Chaya - what sort of info you after?
