will be at Gullane for 2 wks early sept for a work course. Any reasonable routes around the Gullane area?
Prefer off road if possible, may have access to a car so could travel if have to.

There is some riding along the coastal paths but it is all pretty flat try and get hold of coastkid he knows all the good stuff down in East Lothian.
Pentlands could be possible, 30-40 minute drive back in to Edinburgh.
Glentress is a little over an hour away.

Loads of good road routes and as others have said Coastkid is the man for beachriding and local XC routes. We usually organise local night rides out of Pencaitland (About 10 miles away). If you are on facebook look for East lothian Mtb group .
