Any reccomendations as my house insurance only covers when it's kept inside and not when I'm out and about. Also any good portable locks.

There was an article that just about wrote off all locks as breakable. You just need something that will be enough of a deterrent (and also on a list approved by whoever insures your bike). Cycle specific insurance is expensive so perhaps better to look at moving your home insurance to somebody that covers both.

I'd genuinely recommend Bikmo+ Costs me around £11 a month for a few K's insurance. They paid out for an acquaintance when he crashed.
