any particular manufacturers that suit the larger gentleman? A friend wants a waterproof and base layer and although losing weight pretty fast has got a pretty long way to go (20+ stone and 6ft6")

doesn't want to spend mega bucks but lucky in that there's often a lot of XXL stuff in the sales

[update] he's a 52-54 chest

cioch for custom made waterproofs, may be his only choice for something suitable for cycling and fit someone of that size.

try love2pedal.com for some oversized cycling wear, I have had a couple of items off them, comes pretty quickly.

thanks

it seams even 5XL stops at 50" chest ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

I've told him to go down the line of a normal breathable jacket from an outdoor shop

cioch for the coat, made to measure.
shorts, either mt bora from the states or mace if you can source them.
shirts, again mt bora for the states, or 3xl from mountain warehouse, 52'', bit tight on me at 1st, but i have shrunk a bit.

all mainstream cycle clothing will not fit a waist bigger than 40'' or a chest bigger than 46'', so dont waist time trying any.
