Continue insomnia meant i was putting this together @ 5am this morning but a worthwhile early morning i'm sure you'll agree....

A lot of gear for the build, including the frame and wheels have come from the classifieds on here and thanks to the STW massif for the advice in selecting the spec, etc.

Done on a budget, i reckon £650-700.

Hopefully it'll get its first 'proper' ride at the weekend (it'll probably take me 'till then to set the brakes up!) whaddya think?

looks nice, bar tape a bit too in your face for me but otherwise spot on.

I've been looking at those brakes - be interested to hear what you think.

I agree but when my red tartan saddle arrives it should balance it out a bit 😉

I thought i'd give them a try as they are supposed to be a sinch to set up, they're not....to be fair though i'm sleep deprived and not had a proper look at them yet....will keep you informed 🙂

thanks 🙂

I'd get in the habit of leaning the sadlle walls not the brake/shifter levers - they scratch really easily.

or even the back tyre & pedal so you don't scuff the saddle 🙂

I like that 🙂
