Am looking to get a custom frame bag to fit my Whyte T-140. I've previously had a couple of bags from WeeCog who were great but they don't seem to be in business anymore? A internet search gives me Alpkit & Restrap - does anyone have any first hand experience of ordering a custom bag from them?

Or are there any other others out there? Thanks

Wizard Works or Camelchop perhaps?

I'm looking forward to possibly receiving some Wizard Works bags for my birthday next week although I didn't go custom, I requested them mainly because they were one of the few brands doing a genuinely compact looking (i.e. sits below the top of the stem) top tube bag, and their small frame bag looked ideal for fast but long gravel rides. Pretty certain both brands offer custom though.

I use a custom Alpkit frame bag. Done thousands of miles with it, no problems.

I got a custom Alpkit frame bag too, very happy with it and would buy again (for a different frame).

Another vote for Alpkit, had one for 8 years now and it's been great apart from the waterproof zips finally wearing out (not a quality issue, just used it a lot!). Replaced them myself although I think Alpkit offer repairs. If there's an option to to get it custom made with higher gauge, non waterproof ones I would recommend that, as they will likely last longer.

Have an Alpkit bar bag that was made/modified to my requirements. Great service, would also recommend.

Came to say Ross at Straiaght Cut, too. They're not particularly cheap but by god they're well made and things of beauty.

@ahsat has a custom restrap frame bag. We’ve got various other restrap bits, all nicely made. The process was pretty straight forward

You should have a trip to Bespoked this weekend, there will be lots of options to check out there!

One that hasn’t been mentioned yet, Shaggy, who made the Star Wars themed bag on this bike https://singletrackworld.com/2025/03/bike-check-petor-gs-star-wars-sturdy-cilla/

I bought a custom Restrap for my Topstone. I'm very pleased with it and would certainly buy other Restrap bags.

Thanks Hannah. That was a fun bag to make. Are you coming to Bespoked? I’ll be wandering round with a new rucksack design.
