I know there are loads of options out there, Endura, Altura, Gore, Castelli etc. but they all seem to be out of stock?

It's for commutes on the road so slimmer and stretchier the better, I've seen those rainlegs chaps things but wonder if water would still run off my back and soak my ass, it's the prospect of soggy cold lycra on the commute home I'm trying to avoid!

Thanks, they're just standard lycra though.

Evans seem to carry some interesting stuff, I guess though 3/4 isn't very popular, it's mostly full length tights from Gore and Bontrager etc.

I guess with a waterproof sock that would have spared me putting on sopping wet socks at the end of the day...

No they aren't. They pretty much 100% waterproof. I have set.

Edit. Description is wrong. The addicts are waterproof.

My Rapha roubaix bib 3/4 aren't waterproof. But I rode them through three hrs of torrential rain last Tuesday and never felt either wet or cold. I'll be adding a second pair because they are that good!

Ah yeah, I see that now, had been coming round to the idea of full trousers but at that price the Addicts look like they're worth a punt, thanks.

TiRed, I'm specifically looking for something that won't get wet and stay wet all day until I'm ready to ride home, my current shorts are perfectly comfortable when riding in the rain, it's just the horror of putting them back on all wet cold and gritty at the end of the day that I don't like! ๐Ÿ˜ณ

We have clothes driers, but if it's raining when I leave, I just take a spare set of shorts.
