5months old, cube reaction, just been blasting round sherwood the other day, never seen any serious abuse and its not like I'm carrying much weight on the 22" frame at only 73kg. But I was cleaning it and noticed 2 significant hairline fractures running either side of the top tube =/

Properly gutted, should I go back to Al? how much heavier are they really?

Might just be a crack in the lacquer, best post a few pics so the more knowledgeable can say.

it'll be the edge of a sticker.

Get a warranty replacement and have done with it. It's bad luck, but not an inherent issue with the material.

If it is a crack in the carbon I'd be going back to the shop to discuss a warranty claim.

Yeh I am, its not the sticker, there's about a mm of depth to the right hand side crack with the black carbon exposed.

I'll upload a pic or two for those of you riding Al/Ti/steelys own amusement
