[Closed] Crud roadracer with 32mm tyre?

Is there any reason why the crud roadracer designed for 23mm tyres wont fit a bike with 32's fitted?

The only thing I can think of the the increased radius but they seem adjustable for that, and surely moving the fixing points up the seat stays/ fork legs will fix that issue.

Anyone got a set and care to share their thoughts?

Considering my 23s rub the guards at the slightest provocation I would say there's not a chance in hell!

Not tried them with 32mm tyres, but looking at the ones on my bike, the tyre width is more likely the problem, it'd be a tad tight on tyre radius, but you could always space that out. Guess you'd have to 'suck it and see' - I'll try a set on a bike tomorrow and see if it's doable! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Not a cat in hells chance, I can't even fit the front extension to the rear guard with 23mm Conti Ultra Races' on.

SKS would be the option, I've got the ones for upto 35mm tyres on my commuter with 28mm tyres and they're just about fine, wouldn't really fancy 35mm ones under them to be honest

That's more a frame design/geometry issue than a tyre size one though?

I had a set of SKS raceblades but I didn't get on with them - they always rubbed.

My bike (Kaff) has all the provisions for a full set of guards but I want an easy-on, easy-off set that has minimal effect of toe overlap.

Alternatives?
