Anyone have any experience with changing the travel in a 2005 fox vanilla 32 130mm to 100mm ,there are instructions in the manual but would appreciate some good advice on how best to do it.

thanks,

not changed the travel myself (can't see the point really) but have had the fork apart and seen how easy it is to do. Full details on my favourite site Enduro fork seals

BTW you dont have to do all this to change the travel just refer to number 31/32 in the instructions

Yes, the Enduro instructions are great. Get new crush washers (from Mojo) before you do it as they can distort and be unusable when replaced.
There are good pictorial instructions in MBR this month too. For a Float, but its not much different

My best advise would be not to do it on a carpeted area inside the house. 😆 Very simple, undo the top caps, push the spacers from the rods. Undo the nut at the bottom of the lowers (spring side), tap the rod back up with a hammer to loosen, catch the oil. Retreive rod and place spacer between main spring and top out spring. Put everything back together adding some fresh oil to the spring side. Job done, 15mins max.
