You an me both. Some people love them so I've forced myself to have a go at some cryptic clues. If anyone wants to have a go at creating a set of crossword clues for future puzzles then I will need about 25 clues. You don;t have to design th ecrossword iteslef - we do that. We can pay you in merch if we use your clues.

I didn't realise that the clue came up when you click on the answer square until half way through, kept scrolling down for the clues. I was stumped for a while on the decay and heraldic gold one for a while as well. Oh, and I didnt know how to spell the mech one.....
