I have a 2005 Rocky Mountain ETS-X which is beginning to sound decidely creaky. I'm aware of this frames tendancy to snap between the pivots on the seat tube but can't see anything there...yet.
I've replaced the BB and the local bike shop has serviced all the pivots. It doesn't matter if I'm sitting or standing but is most noisy when I pedal hard (out the saddle climbing is especially bad)
So I'm looking for other things to check.....

it was only a certain year and the red 30 that had the problem I believe.
pedals?

My handlebars creak when I'm out the seat. could try there.
