Is it common for the real pain to take a few days to kick in?

When I got knocked off I went riding a few days later and seemed fine.
Then afterwards the first pain I felt was when I went to shave and couldn't touch my neck.
Then I couldn't move my arms. That was followed by a severe headache.
Just thought it odd that I felt okay on the night of the accident.

Went to my GP to get some sleeping tablets, as I've only had an hour or two a night since.
Plus my eyesight seems to have got really bad, though that might be tiredness.
Anyone else felt like this?

Does not sound good, back to the docs I think.

Anyway, I came off in the alps and my shoulder hurt.... The pain in my neck came after a few days. I had hit my head and was suffering from whiplash type injury, this always takes a few days to appear. Also had headaches and tingling/"dead" arm. Dd not sleep much because of my neck.

I am getting better now, I did have some osteopath treatment from my sister in law which helped.

I would still see the docs again, sound like head and neck/ whiplash injury.

Get well soon!

Simone
