Think there alright but there are better examples being

Cheap - Superstar nano pedals

Middle - Easton flatboy

£££ - Straitlines

Too heavy, not that grippy either because of that ridge. Replaced mine with superstar(!) nanoflats...recommended!

£££-straitlines?

Straitlines pedals are basically in a select group of uber pedals, very very grippy you won't need all the pins, thin so your foot is closer to the axle more control and "feel" and a wide platform so your feet are nicely seated. i got some for £80 if you search around and well finished.

Broke my toe using 50/50's at Ae last year when both feet slipped off the pedals as I was going over a drop-off (not the big one near the bottom thankfully). When I got to the bottom I decided I wasn't going back up until I found replacements. Bought a pair of V8's and they were 10 times better for grip.

So, anyone want to buy a set of second hand 50/50's?

Yeah, agree with most here. I have cheapo Wellgo V8 copies on my hardtail and they are ace, decided to pimp up on the Full Suss and got 5050XX.....hate to say it but £12 wellgos are better.

The 5050's look well good but ridge in middle means if you don't have 5Ten shoes or similar and use the extra long pins you're not going to be happy.

My only complaint with them is I found the axles bend easy.

put bigger pins in there....replaced the pins on mine and they have been on my 223, stumpjumper and now my patriot. cant fault them. paid £10 for them and £2 for the pins from hardware store. remember to put on loads of loctite
