Just got in from a 2 hour ride over Painswick beacon and through Cranham taking in the Shrine, Race Track, Bluebell wood, The Wall and Popes Wood and the trails are riding really well.

Bit muddy and sticky in places with the leaves adding to the energy sapping climbs. But gosh it's fun. Seems to be holding up OK with the signs of lots of use over the last 10 days.

Hello to the two guys (one on a Trek EX8) Wwho got startled by me poping out of the trail when you were on the road.

Tis all good, was running up coopers hill/Cotswold way part of cranham with the dogs earlier and it is still holding up really well! Tang...I got a shitty cold at the mo so don't think I'll be out this week, need to get sorted before sat!

Guys and gals, the trails are starting to tear up and are bloody slippy so watch out. Founds loads of branches over the trails tonight.

Also the tree felling has been happening this weekend behind Popes wood between Portway and the Royal William. The new trail that leads you down from the top of the DH jumps to the briddle track on the main road is blocked everywhere so avoid it.

Going up there in a bit with a mate. Hopefully there will be no fog tonight as Monday was really bad.

It is turing into a real bog fest up there. Thanks to Jim for showing me round a host of new trails which we bloody hard work.

Didn't venture past the wall in the end so not sure how the rest of the woods are holding up, but it keeps your legs fit.

Might be an idea to give the trails a bit of a rest whilst the conditions are as they are....

Not riding the shrine as it will get killed, nor Cranham corner.

The big drop on the wall is also cutting up. Not good, so will be on the road for a bit now me thinks
