Nope, the footpath isn't a bad little route down if you avoid walkers though...

Ah - is it all footpath or is there a bw option?
So, its kind of isolated if not part of a potential loop?

You can loop back up the churn and include it that way.
Other than that it doesn't really lead to anything right there - it points you in the direction of Whaley and then Lyme park, but there are quite a few linking roads making that route.
