Is anyone running a 36tooth chainring on a Hustler (09) using the correct BB spacing? My Race Face rings hit the chainstay.Alternatively, will a 34t fit.I,d like to run a 24t inner too if possible.
All double & bash solutions gratefully accepted!

Dave

PS I'm running 150mm Fox 36s on the front & it handles fine!

Yep, been running a 24/36 set-up fine for a couple of years on mine with no problems - and with a Race face 36 chain ring on the middle. may sound a daft question but have you got 2 BB spacers on the drive side? This is the only think I can think of that would let a middle chain ring come into contact with the chain stay.

FYI - shadow rear mechs are a gods send for Hustlers 🙂

Been think of changing my 1540 Pike 's for 36's on teh ustler so would love to see and hear more if you can be bothered.

run mine with a 34 but have had a 36 on there, would definately check that you have 2 spacers on driveside and one on non drive and not the other way around

on the 36 topic at 150 it all gets a bit floppy up front, 140 is the sweet spot for me anyway.

(ps frame now for sale, 19 inch, black, rp23, thomson post, has been welded hence £350 sorry for hijack!)
