Currently running some cheap skinny Maxxis Ignitors 2.1s front and back, which have been great over the summer, but I'll be sticking some bigger tyres on for winter and was wondering what I can get away with on the Soul 275?
I have a Chunky Monkey 2.4, which I'll use up front, but I was wondering about getting one for the back or maybe a Maxxis Ardent 2.4.
I like the idea of trying a big volume rear tyre on the rocky trails around the Peak/Manchester.
Does anyone have any experience of using big tyres on the back of Soul 275? What works and what doesn't?
I've got a Dampf up front and 2.25 Nic out back on my Soul275 right now which has been fine around Guisborough and the Peaks among other places.
Haven't tried anything bigger yet tbh...

Running Minion SS or DHF 2.3 in the back of my BFe (same size stays I think) and there's plenty of room.
There's a b+/29+ group in FB.
