I've just recieved a S/h Roadrat frame, im hoping to set this up as a geared bike, front and rear. The drop outs are horizontal and then there appears to be an insert that slides into the drop out and has the mech hanger on it.. Question is, this isnt slotted, and the only way it appears to hold onto the frame is with the rear QR... is this the correct mech hanger/drop out for running the Roadrat geared OR is there a slotted one available ?
If its the correct one, anyone have a close up pic of how it should be arranged.

yup the q/r holds it. its a pain for getting the wheel out, make sure when you do that there no tension on the chain(shift to small cog) otherwise all hell breaks loose, as the mech is not fixed to anything(did this once and ive still got the scars on my hand). cotic would of been better with just a hanger on the frame under the dropout. great bike tho.
