Hey Chaps,
I'm currently running a 2.6WT Maxxis Forecaster and a 2.6WT Maxxis Ardent Race on my BFe. There looks like a decent amount of room for a bigger tyre .
What's the biggest tyre you've fitted in your BFe? (Cotic say 2.6 max, but different brand and different tyres from the same brand size up different).

We quote based on the WTB 2.6" tyres which are voluminous to say the least. Maxxis are certainly a bit smaller, so you'd probably squeeze a Maxxis 2.8 in there (not that we have tried it, but if you have a mate with a 2.8 you could test that would be good). If you're looking for more volume though, the WTB Trail Boss 27.5 x 2.6 is a great rear tyre, especially in our current weather conditions.
