switching from a triple 22, 32, 44t set up to a double 22, 36t, how do i determine the new proper chain length as i assume the big/big system wont be applicable here?

why wouldn't the big big plus a pair for the rear mech work just because you're using a double?

the big big method will make the same combination un-useable when riding as the rear mech will be too stretched out.

the big big will be like middle big on a triple which i tend to use quite a lot, maybe i shouldnt?

big / big plus two links works for me with 22 / 36 bash. You can ride in big / big no problem
