I tried 160mm Marzocchis on my BFe once - it was shite.
150mm Fox 36s feel OK, but Pikes are the best bet.

If you must go longer, then a BFe can take it & I hear lots of good things about the Dialled Alpine. Transition TransAm looks nice too & their large is a 19.5".

I've got an NS Bitch with 170mm 66's on ... it's an 07, I believe the 08 onwards was revised for shorter travel forks.

A Norco Manic or Torrent might fit the bill, Pauls Cycles were doing some at the right money ... one of 'em has a 150mm spaced rear end though so make sure you check that out.

Cheers

Stuart

Well in that case let me recommend the .243 downhill racing hardtail. Adjustable dropouts, 24 or 26" wheels, singlespeed or geared. Does it all really and warranted for triple clamp forks.

The answer would be an 18 inch Orange Subzero 2007 or 2008 model with a set of 66's on it, but they don't make em anymore (they only made 100 in 07, not sure how many in 08)...

..you know you want to (they fixed the seat issue!)

Crush or Stiffee i've had both, Stiffee's the better of the two, Crush can put in some distance more easily.

The Trans Am looks like a bit of an AM type frame. What about an NS bikes Surge frame?

Or a .243, you'll never brake one of those

If you're to scared to ride an Orange you could always try one of those tasty Pace's?
