Advise please on chain length, changing my On One Scandle 26er from triple to a 1x9 using a E Thirteen 38T single chainring and BB chain guide and 11/32 cassette. But not sure if the chain length should be altered.

ALWAYS run the chain as short as you can. So going from a triple, to a single 38T ring you'll probably need to remove 1 or 2 links.
