Hi all. OK, I have managed to wreck my rear wheel (Crank Bros Iodine 3) and have decided to replace it. Its fitted to a Mondraker Foxy XR, the hub size is 135x12. I've managed to track down a replacement but its hub size is 142x12. Now, I'm an idiot and despite spending a considerable time trying to answer my own question I'm still non the wiser! So the quesion is, is it possible to covert a 142x12 fitting to a 135x12 fitting, and if so how easy, like I said, I'm an idiot :D. Cheers all.

What brand of hub is it? The likes of Hope and Superstar do adaptors to cover most spacing..

As above, it totally depends on the brand of hub.

If you can pull off the ends of the hub then there's a good chance that you can buy an adaptor for it.
