Is it possible to convert a standard road 130mm hub to 135mm?
The wheel is a shimano R500.
If it is possible what do I need to do it?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers
Gabe

If the axle is long enough you may be able to just add washers under the locknuts to space it out(we only talking 2.5 mm each side)as long as the axle still protrudes enough to fit in the dropouts.Other wise you could buy a longer axle.

We generally do it with the spacers on the non drive side, and re-dish to suit. It's quite possible your LBS will have couple of used axles left over from robbing freehubs from complete hubs, using your axle will probably only leave you with 2.5mm at each end.
