Want to get one of these but would prefer to mount it to a XC/vented helmet, (not full face jobbie) rather than on the handlebars as I imagine helmet mounted would be better than bar mounted - or and I wrong?
Anyone succesfully mounted it to a xc helmet - if so how?

You need the vented helmet mount like this -

if you have a zen then a couple of zip ties will do it
