Does anyone use their Contour HD with a bar mount for filming? Does the video come out unbelievably shakey or is the quality ok? I'm going to use a helmet mount, but would also like to use a mount on the bike sometimes. To buy or not to buy. That's the question?

Checkout this video:

Contour is handlebar mounted,I prefer it to the helmet mount. The other view is a GoPro chest mounted.

I've had poor results with the bar mount. I sdont think their qc is great. I use a piece of rubber as a shim to tty to reduce the vibration.

Thanks for posting that Milkie. It looks way better than I was expecting. Nice video by the way. I think I'll buy both helmet and bar mount and give them a go with maybe a rubber shim as Crell mentioned? Thanks guys.

A mate of mine uses a contour hd fastened just behind the head tube. The mount is supported with some of that sugru stuff moulded onto the frame and then fastened with velcro straps. The results are very good. Check out rallysaloons channel on YouTube

That is one top tip ssboggy. I haven't even heard of Sugru before but I'll be giving it a go now. Clever stuff. Might even post a video here if it turns out good enough.
