[Closed] Conti X king 2.4 protection - will they fit on my Five?!?

Hi all,

Just about to buy some new summer rubber for my Orange Five. A mate at work suggested the Cont X kings 2.4 protection, thought I'd give them a try having little or no experience with the manufacturer. My mate did say, the 2.4's do come up quite big - I do like a big volume tyre on my five, I just wondered if they would fit? Or if people have a quick pic of a 2.4 on a Five?

Any help more than appreciated!

Sorry! I always get paranoid before spending money! :0)

Thanks

Andy

My 2008 five came with 2.4 conti mountain kings, don't know how the size compares to the ones you mentioned. They fitted fine, just were absolute kak- never had so many punctures, gave them away after five or six rides
edit: before any one tells me I had the wrong pressures etc., I didn't and haven't had the same issue with any other tyres on the bike

I use the 2.2 x king as my summer rear tyre on my 5 for general trail riding and it works a treat. Have a mountain king on the front. If Im going for a more downhill session, not DH tracks then I put the MK on the back and a 2.2 rubber queen up front. Works well for me
