Thick snow here in Manchester but mainly the ice that worries me.
Apart from the snow on the trail- it drains well? Anyone rode it yesterday?
Was thinking of waiting for the roads to be properly gritted then heading up there this afternoon.

I think your biggest problem will be getting there. I live in Rossendale and some of the main roads here aren't great. Doubt the roads to Gisburn will have been gritted at all. Quite a bit of snow has fallen and it's really cold up here. More snow forecast for this afternoon too.

Mega amounts of more snow, you made the right call. For a while the only things moving around here were 4 x 4, and that was on the gritted roads.
