Dunno where that goes sorry, but I do remember trying to walk the dog around that area, and a lot of the Bridleways and footpaths have been closed by the local farmers... ๐Ÿ˜•

i find when challenged by people in Land Rovers on legitimate BW's a useful approach is "it's a bridleway and i know that and you know that, if you insist it isn't I'll ask the Council to put the signs back up" pedals off and checks for dogs

you need to get an up to date map, even then have to sometimes email rights of way at council - i'm sure landowners will tell you its the people canvassing for the BNP that steal all the signs

thats the point, it isnt on the map which is why i dont know where it goes. i just saw the signpost below the nick of pendle. its at about GR773383 and says concessionary bridleway sabden. i'd just ridden the bridleway from newchurch to sabden and there was no sign showing where the other end popped out. it may go past churn clough res but if there are no other signs then even riding it may not help

I've noticed some new bridleway signs pulled down in the Trough of Bowland on that new bit running between Dunsop Bridge and Slaidburn, that goes via Back of Hill Barn. Is there some sort of general thing against bridleways going on here?
