I will be taking delivery of some lovely Shimano XT cranks next week, as an upgrade from an irritating set of Truvativ Stylo's. I know that I will have to swap out the BB for a Shimano one, but will I still be able to use the SRAM cassette, chain and mechs?
Help would be appreciated ๐Ÿ˜€

Yes.

Although it will depend on how worn your chain is as to how nicely it works.

Of course you can, however in the UK we don't "swap out" ๐Ÿ˜‰

What do you mean "in the UK", surely that would include myself- born and bred ๐Ÿ˜‰ (?)
Or did I catch myself using some America-specific terminology? ๐Ÿ˜›

Shimano XT cranks and front mech with sram cassette and XO rear derailleur and grip shifts here, never misses a beat so i would say compatability not an issue
