Thinking of some new bars. For the Cotic X and the stem is virtually level with the seat. Got Midges on the other CX but find the drops to short. Hard to compare as this bike has the bars very (too ) lowso I use the hoods mostly. The X is used for a variety of things from fast road rides to banging round the woods. Planning on fitting my Ergo shifters and I have small hands so like the levers close to the bars.
Your experiences please, especially if you have used both.

Tick.

I've asked this before and had little response.

Used both but prefer the Ragley Luxy bar. Brant Richards design with a little input from yours truly. Personally I find any kind of off road drop too wide for road use, feels like you're driving a truck. What I have on my Peregrine at the moment is a Nitto Noodle in 48cm, which has a bit of flare to it, is a lot more confidence inspiring than a road bar off road, but doesn't feel crazy wide on road. Just noticed that Hubjub also have the new (or re-issued) Nitto dirt drops as well, which are a really nice bar, but quite deep in the drops in ccomparison to a modern off road drop.

Does the Luxy have a longer bottom section? Midges seem quite short there.
