My Aldi winter jacket is doing me proud as a daily commuter jacket

My Aldi (or Lidl, can't remember) one is surprisingly good. My Gore Phantom is better though. If it vanished I'd buy another one to replace it. The arms come off so it's properly adaptable for different temperatures. Useful as it's often warmer on the ride home than the ride to work, if you do 'normal' hours anyway.

I just bought a decent windproof and bright gilet which I wear over any one of the numerous layers/jackets I use for off road. So long as you're well lit and have lots of reflective stuff I don't think you need a dedicated 'commuting' jacket.
