Hi

Seeking personal experience/advice on what people would suggest for a commuter bike.

Have road bike at present but think want similar bike but with flat bars and v brakes better for stopping in the wet. Also think will def need bike that can take some sort of mudguard.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks

Dave

I'm getting one of these......

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_273345_langId_-1_categoryId_165534

Flat bars, skinny tyres and discs.

All my boxes ticked!

I'm about to sell my old Ribble audax - if you want to have a go and modify it! (replaced with a newer one, btw)
