[Closed] Cold weather? Of badgered seals?

Fork pressure dropped on a nightride a few weeks back, but after pumping back up they rode the other day with no noticeable loss. Last night pressure dropped down to 46psi during ride (should be 75), but felt reasonable when I left the house.

Anyone else suffering this? Is it cold air contracting inside the chamber? Seals working less effectively? Or are my seals on their way out?

You wouldn’t get a 30 psi pressure drop from (at most) a 30 degree Celcius temperature reduction. More like 3 psi, I would have thought.

Maybe the low temperatures are making the seals less flexible, so they aren’t sealing as well?

I did wonder that. I'll have to keep an eye on them and see how they are once things get warmer.
